Non-coital sexual activity still carries health risks.

While mutual masturbation, oral sex, and anal sex reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy, the risk of acquiring sexually transmitted diseases is still present.

STDs may be spread through saliva, blood, vaginal secretions, semen, and fecal matter, especially in the presence of preexisting infections, open sores, or other lesions. When engaging in oral sex, a barrier protection is rarely or actually never used. I also found that HIV transmission is 5x more likely in anal sex than in vaginal sex.

Better safe-sex strategies include abstinence, mutual monogamy, engaging in relatively safer behaviors, and STD testing before initiating sexual activity with a new partner.

This is important information to pass along, especially with the number of teens having sex being on the rise. Passing along a lifetime of trouble is not worth the moments of pleasure.
