Getting a prescription filled to many people is such a routine that many do it subconsciously without giving it a thought. According to medical experts, this is a potential big mistake. This is because it can hamper treatment or in a worst-case scenario, do real harm to you. Many health-care campaigners and pharmacists are urging people to be “medicine smart” by keeping track of medications they take, asking health-care providers several questions and developing a relationship with the family health-care provider.
